Upright Shoulder External Rotation

Target Muscle: Infraspinatus & Teres Minor (Back)

Workout Mechanics: Isolated | Workout Force: Pull Exercise | Utility: Auxiliary

Stablizer Muscle: Supraspinatus, Deltoid, Lateral, Deltoid, Anterior, Rhomboids, Wrist Extensors

Upright Shoulder External Rotation Instructions

Upright Shoulder External Rotation Technique

Stand or sit with dumbbell positioned out to side of head; bent elbow, shoulder height with dumbbell above elbow.

Upright Shoulder External Rotation Form

Lower dumbbell forward by rotating shoulder. Return and repeat. Continue with opposite arm.

Throughout movement, keep bent elbow (approximately 90°) out to side, shoulder height.
