Incline Bench Press

Target Muscle: Pectoralis Major, Clavicular (Chest)

Workout Mechanics: Compound | Workout Force: Push Exercise | Utility: Basic or Auxiliary

Stablizer Muscle: Biceps Brachii, Short Head

Synergists: Deltoid, Anterior, Triceps Brachii

Incline Bench Press Instructions

Incline Bench Press Technique

Lie supine on incline bench. Dismount barbell from rack over the upper chest using a wide oblique overhand grip.

Incline Bench Press Form

Lower weight to upper chest. Press bar until arms are extended. Repeat.

Range of motion will be compromised if grip is too wide.
